At Monroc, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of our development strategy.
Beyond regulatory requirements, we are committed to taking concrete action to reduce our environmental impact, improve working conditions, and support the evolution of our ecosystem.
A Structured and Recognized Approach
To strengthen our credibility with partners and give structure to our commitments, we have implemented a formal CSR strategy.
This commitment has recently been recognized through our certification under the UIMM CSR framework.
This certification acknowledges our concrete commitment to:
- social responsibility,
- employee health, safety and well-being,
- environmental protection,
- and responsible governance.
An important milestone that recognizes the actions we carry out every day and encourages us to continue on our path of continuous improvement.
Monroc’s management team is fully committed to all CSR topics, ensuring a comprehensive and consistent approach across the company.
Reducing Our Environmental Impact
Reducing our environmental footprint is one of the key pillars of our strategy.
Several concrete initiatives have been implemented:
- Product optimization: we have reduced the weight of our hubs, helping to lower transportation volumes and, consequently, reduce transport-related emissions.
- Waste management: all our waste is monitored and treated, with part of it being recycled or recovered as part of a circular economy approach.
- Eco-grazing: we maintain the green areas around our site through natural grazing solutions, promoting biodiversity.
Improving Quality of Life at Work
We continuously invest in providing our teams with a more comfortable and efficient working environment.
This includes:
- the construction of new offices equipped with height-adjustable workstations,
- the modernization of production equipment,
- the expansion of our manufacturing facilities.
We have also introduced simple but meaningful initiatives, such as providing each employee with a reusable Monroc mug to reduce the use of disposable cups.
Developing Skills and Supporting Career Paths
At Monroc, CSR also means investing in people and supporting professional development.
We are committed to:
- welcoming apprentices and students in work-study programs,
- supporting people undergoing career changes,
- providing extensive training opportunities to our employees (1,454 hours of training delivered in 2025, representing an average of 22 hours per employee).
These initiatives help develop skills, enhance employability and pass on valuable know-how.
A Continuous Improvement Process
CSR at Monroc is not a one-off initiative but an ongoing commitment.
We continuously strive to improve our practices, address environmental and societal challenges, and build a more sustainable business model.
